Workshop submissions for the 2014 AUGS/IUGA Joint Scientific Meeting will open October 21 and close on December 9. More information will be forthcoming and will be posted on the 2014 meeting web site at www.augs-iuga2014.org when available.

If you are attending the American Urogynecologic Society’s 2013 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, please plan to visit the IUGA booth on the exhibition floor. Staff at the booth will have information about IUGA’s most current projects and initiatives, samples of popular articles from the IUJ, terminology papers, grants information and more. Bring your friends along to sign-up for an IUGA membership and they could win a package of items from our online store including brochures, illustration pads, POPStix and our new surgery flip chart.  Anyone interested in volunteering at the booth to speak with existing and potential members should e-mail Amy Cassini, Membership Manager, at amy@iuga.org. Have you ever forgotten to renew your IUGA membership and subsequently lost your online access to the IUJ or missed a hardcopy of the IUJ?  Now you can avoid this by signing up for automatic membership renewals. When your membership is about to expire and you sign-in to renew, select "regular membership automatic renewal”. By signing-up for automatic renewals, you authorize IUGA to automatically charge your credit card US$150 (the regular membership fee) on your annual renewal date. Cancellation of the automatic renewal option can be done at any time by e-mailing amy@iuga.org.

IUGA will be holding a special educational program in beautiful Bali, Indonesia at the Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel on November 7-9.  The first congress day consists of two workshop sessions featuring hands-on programs such as “POP-Q: The Easy Way to Use and Understanding Surgical Prolapse Anatomy”, “Hit the international Publication: Simple & Practical Tips & Tricks” and “Managing Complications of Incontinence and Prolapse Surgery” to name a few!  Days two and three feature didactic lectures regarding office evaluation, surgical management of POP, childbirth and pelvic floor injury, surgical and non-surgical management of urinary incontinence as well as surgical complications.  Please click here to register and view the full program and list of distinguished international, regional, and local speakers.  For any questions, please contact the IUGA Office at regional@iuga.org.
