Last chance to submit your workshop proposal!
The 2014 workshop proposal deadline is this Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. EST. To download the workshop submission guidelines or to submit your workshop proposal, please click here. Please note there will be no extensions granted for workshop submissions. For questions regarding workshop submissions, please e-mail office@iuga.org.
Sponsorships for workshops
AUGS & IUGA wish to inform those preparing workshop proposals that industry will be approached for workshop sponsorships. Each sponsored workshop will appear as “sponsored by [sponsoring firm]”. Revenues generated in this fashion will be allocated to the general AUGS-IUGA joint annual meeting funds.
Please Note: AUGS will be managing contacts with industry for these formal workshop sponsorship.
PROTECT program test modules now available
The PROTECT program was developed to promote knowledge of obstetricians and midwives worldwide in the management of perineal trauma and episiotomy through structured training with a view to minimise pelvic floor and perineal morbidity associated with childbirth. If you are planning to attend the IUGA sponsored PROTECT Train the Trainers session at the 2014 meeting, you will need to complete and pass the theoretical test modules on the IUGA web site. IUGA webinar recording now available
Part 2 of 3: Mesh Complications
On Thursday, December 5th IUGA offered a webinar entitled ‘Mesh Complications’. This presentation was recorded and is available to members for viewing on the members-only section of the IUGA website.
