Connect with other IUGA members online
If you are looking for ways to interact with other IUGA members, check out the ‘member connect’ section of the IUGA web site. This section of the site allows members to virtually connect and share common issues and concerns. To check out all opportunities to connect, please click on the highlighted blue link below.

  • Discussion Forums – Provide a place for members to raise questions directly with other members.
  • Member Connect – A resource for members to publicize their willingness to host other urogynecologists for short periods and for members who are traveling to other parts of the world to connect with fellow-members.
  • Special Interest Groups - Link members with a common interest in a specific urogynecological topic or area.
  • Volunteer Opportunities – Provides members the chance to become directly involved with other members in projects and activities that advance the urogynecological field.

Introducing the IUGA Industry Council
IUGA has had a long and positive relationship with the companies that supply pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other material for the urogynecological field. This has included their involvement with the IUGA Annual Meeting, which provides an excellent opportunity to connect with leaders in this field from around the world, and support for IUGA projects and publications.

IUGA has created an Industry Council to provide for regular contact and to stimulate regular exchange of information. It is envisaged that the firms that are members of the council, IUGA and individual leaders in the field will be able to keep each other informed of developments that will affect business, practice, education and research related to urogynecology. Members of the industry council thus far include:

  1. Allergan
  2. AMS
  3. Coloplast
  4. Medtronic
  5. Uroplasty

The council held its inaugural meeting this week in Washington, D.C. with the IUGA Board.

For more information about the council, please contact IUGA’s Executive Director, Chuck Shields, via e-mail at chuck@iuga.org.

2014 volume 1 official newsletter available online
In December 2013, the board decided to eliminate the hardcopy distribution of the official newsletter and switch to online only. Volume 1 of the 2014 official newsletter is now available on the members only section of the web site, in both PDF format and digital reader format. To access the newsletter, please click here. If you are not logged-in to the IUGA web site, you will be prompted to do so.  If you don’t recall your user id or password to access the members-only section of the IUGA website or have questions regarding the newsletter, please contact Amy Cassini, Membership Manager, at amy@iuga.org and she would be pleased to help you.
