Registration opens Friday, April 11

Registration for the AUGS/IUGA Joint Scientific Meeting opens on Friday, April 11. This is the first-ever joint meeting between AUGS and IUGA, so it’s sure to deliver the best of both organizations! Don’t miss out on exciting debates, innovative presentations during the scientific program, a fun new twist on the typical Friday night closing celebration and so much more. Joint meeting communiqué launching Thursday, April 10
Starting in 2013, the IUGA office sent out periodic communication to its members to provide updates on important information related to the annual meeting. The office will start sending out this communiqué again for the 2014 meeting starting on Thursday, April 10th, so please check your e-mail for it!

Essential information for traveling to the U.S.
If you reside outside of the U.S. and are planning to attend the AUGS/IUGA 2014 meeting, you may be required to obtain a visa. Please visit the U.S. Department of State web site regarding visas for temporary visitors. 

You may require a letter of invitation to obtain your visa. If so, please send your request in writing to office@iuga.org. The request should include the following information: 

  • Your complete name, organization and job title
  • Your name as it appears on your passport
  • Passport number
  • Issuing government
  • Expiration date 

If you are a national of a visa waiver country: 
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires that travelers who wish to enter without a visa under the visa waiver program must still obtain pre-authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to initiating travel to the United States. Learn more at www.cbp.gov/esta.
