Essential information for traveling to the U.S.
If you reside outside of the U.S. and are planning to attend the AUGS/IUGA 2014 meeting, you may be required to obtain a visa. Please visit the U.S. Department of State web site regarding visas for temporary visitors.

You may require a letter of invitation to obtain your visa. If so, please send your request in writing to office@iuga.org. The request should include the following information:

  • Your complete name, organization and job title
  • Your name as it appears on your passport

If you are a national of a visa waiver country:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires that travelers who wish to enter without a visa under the visa waiver program must still obtain pre-authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to initiating travel to the United States. Learn more at www.cbp.gov/esta.

More information about visas for the 2014 meeting is available at the 2014 meeting web site.

Training site directory now available online

The IUGA training site directory is an interactive PDF which contains a listing of fellowship training sites around the world, broken down by region. It is an excellent tool for anyone searching for a fellowship in their own country or internationally. This fluid document will be updated continuously throughout the year as we receive updates.

IUGA is planning to publish the directory in the IUJ in September. If you represent one of the sites listed in the directory, please review the entry to ensure the information published in the IUJ is as complete as possible. IUGA staff have been in contact with each program listed here and entered the most up to date information provided to them as of the time this document was placed on the web. If the information for your site is incorrect, or your program is not listed and you would like it included, complete the “training site directory update form” on the training site directory web page and send it to the IUGA office as directed on that form.

Please click here to visit the training site directory page.

If you have questions regarding the directory, please contact Amy Cassini, Membership Manager, at amy@iuga.org.
