Mentorship registry available online
The IUGA office and the Research & Development and Fellows’ Committees are excited to announce the launch of the online mentorship registry. This tool was developed to encourage mentor/mentee relationships between IUGA members. Some of the mentorship categories we have identified include assistance with research, manuscript writing and career development advice. The database is populated with 11 potential mentors who are eager to be matched up with a mentee. IUGA would like to invite you to visit the registry online to sign-up as a mentor, search for a mentor or simply see what it’s all about. The link to the registry is below:

http://www.iuga.org/?page=mentorship

Please bear in mind that submitting an application does not obligate you to mentor everyone who makes a request. IUGA hopes its members will take advantage of this exciting new registry and use the 2014 meeting in Washington, D.C. as an opportunity to meet face-to-face with their mentor or mentee.

If you have any questions or need additional assistance, please contact Amy Cassini, Membership Manager, via e-mail at amy@iuga.org

YourMembership.com planned maintenance

The Yourmembership.com technical support team will be performing maintenance on the IUGA web site on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM Eastern Time (-5 GMT). If you try to visit or log-into the IUGA web site during this time, you may experience technical difficulties. This will, for example, mean that during this period you will not be able to get the key code needed for annual meeting registration, which was discussed in the item just above. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.
