Note on submitting AUGS/IUGA conference work to IUJ
For those authors whose abstracts have been accepted at the 2014 AUGS/IUGA Joint Scientific Meeting in Washington DC, you may submit a fast-track manuscript to the International Urogynecology Journal, the official journal of IUGA. This  includes all podium  and  oral posters. These submissions will receive swift review from the editors of the IUJ to determine publication suitability.

All fast-tracked submissions must state on the submission cover page that the abstract has been accepted for presentation at the 2014 Joint Scientific Meeting.

This will ensure that the paper is sent to the correct reviewers. The full instructions for submitting to the IUJ are available here:

Things to do in Washington, D.C.
If you are planning to attend the 2014 meeting, make sure you take a few minutes to review the “Guide to Washington, D.C.” The guide includes the most popular things to do and see broken down by neighborhood. You will find information about everything from art and culture in DuPont Circle to the nightlife along the U Street Corridor. Maps of the city and subway, links to popular web sites and an overview of cultural activities will help you plan your trip to D.C. In addition to the guide, this section of the web site also includes information regarding available tour programs, including kid-friendly tours.  Click here to visit the page and download the guide.
