Call for 2015 Workshop Proposals Now Open

The workshop proposal submission system for the 2015 Annual Meeting is now open. Please read the guidelines carefully.  All faculty should be confirmed before being included.  Proposals must detail any special requirements such as technology, room setup, or anatomical specimens for practical demonstrations.   The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, November 10, 2014 by 11:59pm EDT.  There will not be a deadline extension.  For any questions, contact Amanda Grabloski at amanda@iuga.org.

Abstract Submission System Opening
The abstract submission system will open on November 4 and will close on February 1, 2015. Keep checking the 2015 meeting web site at http://www.iugameeting.org/abtracts/. More details will be posted when they are available.


IUGA Webinar: “Highlights of the Annual Meeting”
Sept 25, 2014 at 3:00pm – 4:30pm EDT (in North America)

On Thursday, September 25 at 3:00pm EDT (early Sept 26 in Asia and Oceania) IUGA will offer a webinar showcasing the highlights from the 2014 annual meeting.  As with previous webinars, this session will be recorded and will be available to members via the IUGA website.  Moderated by Dudley Robinson, the session will feature Best Abstract Award winner Emmanuel Trabuco, a review from John Delancey of his Raymond A. Lee Lecture, ‘Imagine’, along with three other abstract presenters. Updates made to Find A Urogynecologist Tool
If you submitted your information for the Find A Urogynecologist Tool in the last month, your information should now be updated in the tool. To check your information is correct visit http://findurogynecologist.com/ and search by last name. If you submitted your information and it does not appear in the directory, please e-mail Amy Cassini at amy@iuga.org. If you wish to have your information included, visit www.iuga.org, log-in with your username and password, select ‘Manage Profile’ then ‘Edit Bio’ from ‘Information & Settings’. Complete the information under ‘Work Info. (for the Find A Urogynecologist Tool)’.

New IUJ section: Images in Urogynecology
Be on the lookout for a new section in the IUJ called “Images in Urogynecology” which will feature between one and three pictures with text and references. For more information about how to submit images to be included in this section, please visit http://www.springer.com/medicine/gynecology/journal/192 and download the “Instructions for Authors” PDF on the right-hand side of the page.
