The Scottish Independent Review of transvaginal mesh implants is now available for download. This review was set up by the former Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing to assess the evidence relating to surgery using synthetic mesh implants for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) and pelvic organ prolapse (POP) in Scotland.

Thanks to the generosity of AMS, with support from FIUGA, IUGA will award one unrestricted clinical research grant for USD$20,000. Projects must focus on the role of grafts in the management of pelvic organ prolapse and SUI. Proposals are due November 10, 2015.
